*Stewie dials phone* "111-1111, Lois? Damn", "111-1112, Lois? Damn".

I don't even know why I think this is funny

Stewie: As for you, kind sage, I only hope my heartfelt thanks will keep you warm as you spend the next ten years in frozen carbonite!

~ from the Chitty Chitty Death Bang episode

Family Guy is one of the better animated shows out there, even if it isn't really being produced anymore. I have the Season 1 and 2 DVD's, and they're hilarious to watch the second time through.

I have no funniest moment but one that just popped into my head right now is when stewie says:

"Its, not so much I want Louis dead as I just want her to not, be alive anymore."

Spoiler - but you knew it was coming anyway, right?

When Peter makes a speech in the funeral for his boss, he slowly shows the secret transformation of Jesus into the Hulk.

When Peter's car gets spray painted with the word 'phoney'.

When Meg gets extendable nails as a superpower.

Same episode, when the Mayor rolls in toxic waste to gain super powers, only to receive a tumour(?)

When Quagmire is dating Lois, he offers her his coat...

When Cleveland tries out the new cop van's automated arresting system.

When Meg is crying and Peter says "remember that pony you wanted when you were 7 well i've been saving it for just this occasion", he opens a door and there is a pony skeleton and says " thats right ponies need to eat don't they"

I saw this a long time ago so my quotes are probabley a bit off

This will be hard to pick one moment but I can try....

how about when stewie shrinks down and injects himself into Peter to stop them from having another kid.It is in the "Emssion Impossible " episode I think?

or

When Peter and Lois Inherit her dead Aunts house and they do the Fake Diamond Commercial you know the one. "Diamonds She’ll Pretty much have to." I think that one is in Peter Peter Caviar Eater.

One more.

The one where Peter froms his own country "E Peterbus Unum"

. I have all 50 of them. and by the way I heard that they are making more. They are comming out May 1. allong with a new show by the same people called American Dad. I can't wait. Maby I can watch them wihile I play GW

Being a Futurama fanboy (Wow! Didn't you know that? *gasp*), I beleive FG is highly overrated after watching the three seasons. Nevertheless I still remember when Peter tells to Lois, who wishes to toilet-train Stewie, about the Lindbegh baby. It was the only moment in FG I lauged, but I laughed for 20 minutes.

Isn't there room for both. I love Futurama also in fact I have been known To yell "DEATH BY SNU SNU" (had to guess on spelling) for no reason. I also have 4 seasons on DVD not sure it that is all there is. as I do know when it got canceled . I did sign the petion to keep it alive for both FG and Futurama. though.

I just feel that (no offence to FG fans) FG is made for idiots and most of the humour is of the lowest quality possible. Also FG has no other point than to bring laughter: the plots are usually so lame that I doubt I'll ever watch those three seasons in the next six thousand and fourty seven years. Futurama, on the other hand, is smart, funny and has an evolving plot with unforgettable characters (Hypno-toad, anyone?).

Of course, that's only my opinion. Still I feel saddened by the fact that Fox brings back Family Guy but not Futurama.

Futurama has an evolving plot? Must of missed it. I think both are funny but personally never went out of my way to watch it. BUT since the thread is here. My favorite moment (it was mentioned before), is when Stewey shrinks himself and fights his near twin brother and they put each other in a sleeper hold etc... It was hilarious.

My favorite moments --

I think it was the first episode, when they are all in the courtroom and peter is sent to jail (or someting) and then everybody goes: "oh no! ... oh no! ... oh no!" and then the kool aid guy busts in the wall and goes "OHHHH YEAH!" then slowly backes out.

When peter is in the fancy restaurant, and they ask for his name and he tries to make one up, so he looks around and sees peas and goes "pea" then he sees somebody crying and he says "tear" and then a griffin flys buy and he says "griffin" (making peter griffin).

Suddenly I am blaking now, but 2 will do
